Mrs. Inez Harris Brown and Mr. James V. Honors have been dedicated members of the Lay Economic Development Program for more than two decades. Mrs. Brown joined on July 2, 1989. Mr. Honors joined on April 5, 1997.


LEDP is a not-for-profit corporation whose purposes are to operate for the advancement of religion and religious activities and for other charitable purposes, by the distribution of its funds for such purposes and particularly for providing developmental services to components and units in the Eleventh Episcopal District. (Make low-interest to approved small churches for capital improvements and to support the Eleventh Episcopal District Lay Organization in programs it promotes and/or endorses). The Organization also provides academic scholarships.
There are two kinds of membership. Individual membership fees are $30 per year or $130 for five years. Organizational membership fees are $50 per year or $230 for five years.
